New wheels and tires for the [G]one [T]o pla[I]d. Tires are Potenza Pole Position S04s. Wheels are a cheap Chinese knockoff of the GTI Clubsport 19s. These are 18x8s. Tires are 235/40/18.
Dat poke tho...

What’s the offset on those? Looking at the poke, I’d guess ET35 or lower?

Almost perfectly flush at the rear then? We had ET45 225s on ours for two summers, and they were flush at the front, but could use a bit more in the back.

Thanks! Not too shabby for not being the real deal.
These are on some German VW Group parts website for 2,700 Euros, not including shipping. I got my for <$600 shipped.

Yup. Rear could honestly go with some 10mm spacers, but I am okay with it as is. I drive, um,
safely
aggressively and don’t want to risk damaging anything more than I am running cheap Chinese knock-off wheels already.

Meh, they should be fine if you don’t go curb-hopping (probably), they’ll just be heavy. It wouldn’t even surprise me if the diamond cut finish holds up better than OEM.

Actually, 3 pounds lighter than the stock wheels. VW Austins weigh 26. These are 23.

Ah yes, I had forgotten about the boat ankers. Enjoy them, they certainly look sharp!
